Driver ADR licence not required but the driver must have received carriage of dangerous goods awareness training
Full ADR vehicle safety equipment not required but a minimum 2kg fire extinguisher still to be carried
Orange plates and vehicle placards not required
Goods must be packed in UN approved containers and carry class warning transport labels
A dangerous goods note is required (other than in the UK where Road Derogation 2 applies giving an exemption for carrying notes when transporting Classes 2 to 6, 8 and 9 below the small load threshold)
Instructions in writing are not required to be carried
